According to the [process](https://forum.livepeer.org/t/about-the-direct-grants-category/3261/2), a known contributor of the community must champion this grant before it can move to the review stage.

Given the strong support this work has already received within the community, and the fact that it has been discussed several times both publicly and privately, I am happy to champion this grant myself.
