Advisory Boards Phase 1.5: GTM Strategy (2025)

Thank you so much to all the board members and community members who put in a lot of work to arrive at the pillars of this GTM strategy. The tactical recommendations that come next will be highly informative as to the actual strategy for going after these opportunities.

One initial line of questioning that jumped out at me…

  • Streaming Model Experimentation - Plug-and-play APIs for testing and benchmarking AI models in live, production-like environments.

Is there a difference between the network living up to this requirement, versus the network phrasing this as something slightly more ambitious like, “The latest in streaming model support - Allow developers to try out, and integrate, the latest models in live, production environments.”

If the intended behavior behind the scenes is that our ecosystem quickly work to enable the latest and greatest models on the network for developer testing, then why limit it to “experimentation” and “benchmarking”, rather than actually using the models? We’ve seen other centralized AI companies market how fast their adding support for the newest model drops. Couldn’t Livepeer beat them by being community driven and open access?
