Growth Advisory Board Candidacy

The Livepeer Foundation is forming Advisory Boards to create a clear and credible pathway for ecosystem stakeholders to participate in strategic planning.

Today the Foundation announces the preliminary structure, key areas of focus and strategic context of the Growth Advisory Board.

Key Focus Areas

The board will focus its work through 4 strategic pillars:

  • Brand & Positioning - define Livepeer’s narrative, visual identity and storytelling, press coverage, podcast appearances, thought leadership.
  • Strategic Partnerships - run co-branded events, cross-post content and create low-lift technical integrations to position ourselves in key verticals (e.g. AI, Video).
  • Social & Content - focus on high-quality technical and inspirational content across social channels engaging KOLs & Influencers.
  • Programs - programs focused on different aspects of the ecosystem: credits programs, hackathons, bootcamps, startup programs, research programs.

Areas which are not included are:

  • Product development → gateway development, documentation and the Explorer will be owned by the Network AB, who will consult other ecosystem participants for input.
  • Community Initiatives → ecosystem calls and community participation will be owned by the Governance AB, who will consult other ecosystem participants for input.

Summary Recommendation

The Growth Advisory Board brings together a well-rounded mix of expertise across key areas critical to Livepeer’s next phase of growth: ecosystem development, go-to-market strategy, product and design, partnerships, and AI community engagement. This diversity ensures that both protocol-native insights and broader industry trends are represented, supporting strategic alignment across technical, community, and commercial efforts.

With strong representation from core contributors, current team members, and external ecosystem leaders, the board balances institutional knowledge with fresh, external perspectives. Together, the group is well-equipped to identify high-impact opportunities, stress-test growth strategies, and provide actionable guidance to scale adoption and innovation across the Livepeer network.
