Hi,
I’m evaluating Livepeer Studio for a live streaming feature in my app (interactive hosts on a separate real-time SDK, pushed via RTMP into Livepeer for delivery to a passive viewing audience — not using Livepeer for the interactive/host side, only for ingest + HLS delivery to viewers).
I have a few questions about the Pay As You Go pricing:
- Is the Delivery fee ($0.03/60 minutes) billed per viewer-minute (i.e., multiplied by how many people are watching), or per minute of the source stream regardless of audience size?
- Do you support standard RTMP ingest for live streams (from a third-party RTMP push, not just your own SDK/browser capture)?
- Does the $100/month minimum spend apply from the very first month, or only once usage would otherwise exceed it?
- Roughly, for a live stream with ~100 concurrent viewers running ~40 hours/month, what would you estimate the total monthly cost to be (transcoding + delivery, no storage needed since we don’t need VOD from your side)?
Trying to compare this accurately against other providers before committing. Thanks for your help!
