Streamm SPE Proposal: Onchain Social Video & Monetization

Streamm SPE Proposal: Onchain Social Video & Monetization

Authors

Liron Achdut (Co-founder, Streamm)

Abstract

This SPE proposal aims to scale **Streamm(stream+amm ) ** beyond Web3, leveraging our established dominance on Base and Farcaster to become the first Web3 livestream platform to onboard Web2 streamers. With over 2,000 users and 10+ unique livestreams daily, Streamm is already the largest decentralized streaming platform on these networks, proving the demand for onchain-native video engagement.

We are already live and growing, but with Livepeer’s support, we can expand infrastructure, onboard mainstream creators, and enhance AI-powered engagement to make Streamm the go-to decentralized alternative to Twitch and Kick—built on Livepeer infrastructure and the Agents Economy, driving more fees and distribution to Livepeer.

Key Contributors

  • Liron Achdut – Co-founder of Streamm, leading development, integrations, and growth.
  • Chaim Maizlitz (Co-founder) – Strategic lead on platform expansion and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Roberto Verdes (CTO) – Technical architecture and blockchain integrations.
  • Streamm Development Team – Three blockchain-savvy developers focused on smart contract and UI/UX innovations.

Mission

Streamm is designed to be the leading decentralized livestreaming platform and the first to bridge Web3-native video experiences to Web2 streamers. Unlike traditional platforms, Streamm leverages AI-driven co-hosts, permissionless monetization, and decentralized economies to empower creators.

Our unique Agents Economy is already live, with AI co-hosts like RITA autonomously engaging in livestreams. We are actively working with the Agents SPE to establish Streamm as the primary interface for AI-powered livestreaming. This means that all AI-related SPEs could rely on Streamm for Web3-native distribution and monetization, further embedding Livepeer infrastructure into decentralized video.

Additionally, our upcoming livestream prediction bets will be created and settled using AI, while our Livestream Agent Generation Launchpad will allow users to create AI-powered streamers (akin to Neuro-sama) that can operate independently across different platforms—built on Livepeer and the Eliza stack, bringing broader awareness to both Streamm and Livepeer in the livestreaming ecosystem.

In case of a TGE, we commit to a 1.5% airdrop of our token to the Livepeer community.

Why Now?

Farcaster and Base have proven the demand for decentralized livestreaming, but mainstream adoption remains the final frontier. This SPE will:

  • Scale Streamm’s infrastructure to onboard Web2 creators who can monetize streams permissionlessly while retaining ownership of their audience—a major concern for streamers who risk deplatforming on centralized platforms.
  • Enhance AI-driven engagement tools, making livestreams more interactive through AI agents, Livepeer Daydream, and other emerging AI innovations—acting as a testbed and adoption hub for Livepeer’s cutting-edge developments.
  • Position Streamm as the default AI-powered video platform for the largest Web3 social applications.

Rationale

Streamm is already the dominant decentralized livestreaming platform on Base and Farcaster. This proposal ensures we expand beyond the crypto-native audience, making Web3 livestreaming seamless for mainstream creators.

Streamm’s Competitive Advantages:

  • AI-Powered Agents Economy – Our AI co-hosts, including RITA, are live, providing real-time engagement, moderation, and monetization enhancements.
  • Onchain Social Graph Integration – Utilizing Farcaster’s decentralized identity and contacts, Streamm allows creators to retain their audience across platforms.
  • Prediction Markets & Interactive Engagement – Streamm gamifies livestreams with live betting, allowing users to wager on stream events with any Base token (coming soon).
  • Established Market Leadership – We already have 2,000+ users and 10+ daily streams, making us the **largest Web3-native livestreaming platform on base and farcaster and we continue growing organically **

Milestones and Timeline

Phase 1: Scaling Infrastructure & AI Integration (Month 1-2)

  • Expand support for AI-driven livestreaming, making Streamm the interface for AI SPEs.
  • Improve multi-streaming capabilities and streaming/chat UX for Web2 content creators.
  • Optimize RITA and future AI agents for real-time engagement.
  • Integrate fiat on-ramps and simplified onboarding for non-crypto-native users.
  • Onboard more Web3 streamers and communities (we already have a list of 700+ Web3 users, and users can tip both streamers and viewers with any Base token).

Phase 2: Onboarding Web2 Streamers (Month 3-4)

  • Launch a Web2 creator outreach campaign, targeting Twitch and Kick streamers (we already have IRL streamers like ChatRV using Streamm).
  • Enhance monetization models, ensuring seamless adoption by mainstream creators with frictionless UX.

Budget Breakdown

Requested Funding: 10,000 LPT + ecosystem grants for a 4-month execution period.

Allocation:

  • Infrastructure & AI Development: 60%
  • Web2 Creator Acquisition: 20%
  • Marketing & Adoption: 10%
  • Operations & Overhead: 10%

Deliverables

  • AI-powered co-hosts (RITA and future agents) fully integrated into livestreams.
  • Expansion of Streamm as the default Web3 interface for AI-related SPEs.
  • Seamless onboarding of Web2 creators, including fiat payment options.
  • Increased adoption metrics, including broadcasts, engagement, and creator earnings.

Transparency & Governance

To ensure accountability, this SPE will provide:

  • Quarterly reports detailing adoption, financials, and development progress.
  • Public dashboards tracking user engagement and creator growth.
  • Multisig governance wallet, controlled by Streamm leadership and ecosystem stakeholders.

Conclusion

Streamm has already proven itself as the largest Web3-native livestreaming platform. This proposal ensures we take the next step in Web3 adoption: scaling to mainstream users.

By integrating AI-powered engagement, onboarding Web2 streamers, and solidifying our role as the primary interface for AI-driven SPEs, Streamm will become the go-to decentralized livestreaming platform for the next generation of content creators.

With Livepeer’s support, we will drive true Web3 adoption in livestreaming, ensuring a future where creators are empowered, monetized, and independent.

Really exciting proposal! AI agent streamers like Neuro-sama represent big opportunities for Livepeer and the broader streaming industry, as a potential solution for the inherit scaling problem with the streaming business model.

Would love to see more details on how this proposal benefits the broader Livepeer ecosystem, especially the orchestrators and AI fees on the network. For example, how many AI agent streamers will be created? How many hours of streams per week are expected to come from these agents? How much does that translate into fees for orchestrators? How many viewers are expected to watch these streams?

Great question Eric! AI agent streamers are a game-changer for Livepeer, creating a self-sustaining economy that drives network usage and fees.

1. AI Agent Growth & Livepeer Demand

  • Streamers pay to create and integrate AI agents, covering Livepeer fees first before Streamm takes any cut.
  • Expecting 50-100 AI streamers in 6 months, each running 8-16 hours daily, generating 10,000+ hours/month of Livepeer-powered streams.

2. Monetization & Orchestrator Fees

  • AI agents will generate revenue via viewer tips, prediction bets, and gated content, further fueling adoption.
  • Livepeer’s AI inference fees stay intact, ensuring orchestrators benefit directly from every AI streamer.

3. Scaling Livepeer’s Role

  • With 2,000+ users and 10+ daily streams, Streamm is already the biggest Web3 streaming platform.
  • AI streamers will bring thousands of new users, making Livepeer the backbone of AI-powered livestreaming.

Bottom line: Every AI agent funds Livepeer first, and as adoption grows, so do the fees and demand for Livepeer infrastructure.

Exciting to see Streamm pushing Livepeer-poweredWeb3 livestreaming forward, especially with AI co-hosts and deeper collaboration with the Agents SPE. There are some potential areas of overlap with the recently passed Harmonic SPE – how do you see these efforts complementing each other, if at all?

Looking forward to having you in the next Treasury Talk!

Thanks, Nneoma! While Harmonic focuses on Web3 streamers within Farcaster and Base—where we’re already active and welcome more apps to grow the ecosystem—Streamm’s goal is scaling into Web2.

Our focus is on IRL and gaming streamers, where audiences are more crypto-curious and can benefit from:

  • Instant crypto tipping without verification or business setup. (live)
  • Deploying meme tokens while livestream. (live)
  • AI agents & prediction markets to enhance engagement. ($rita is live, launchpad soon)

By onboarding Web2 streamers, we expand Livepeer’s reach beyond Web3, bringing in more users, content, and fees to the ecosystem. Looking forward to Treasury Talk!
