Re: verification, the proposal says that “Broadcasters are responsible to verify received transcoded segments”. Can you elaborate some more on how you see this working in practice, as right now it would seem to introduce even more complexity for a broadcaster to use the service.

Also relating to validation, what are the pros / cons of effectively outsourcing this verification to a different O / T, e.g. occasionally sending segments to be transcoded via 2 different channels, and comparing the results?
