Lisar SPE Release Notes

As part of our monthly accountability updates, the Lisar SPE is happy to share our second monthly progress update covering—what we’ve completed, what’s currently in motion, and what’s coming next.

Quick note: This release notes will serve as a way to share what work is going on with Lisar. All future reports will be added under this thread so anyone can easily track progress without hunting for older updates. Dive in to explore what’s happening and please reach out or reply if you have any questions.

October - Status Update

We previously published our first update sharing details of what work was done, if you missed it please find link to the report here

November – Status Update

The Lisar SPE is actively working toward our core deliverable:
unlocking delegation access for everyone globally by enabling fiat-based delegations (USD, NGN, GBP, KES, and more).

Here’s what was completed in November

  • Completed a closed beta with users and internal testers
  • Switched the transparency dashboard to live mode, enabling real-time community visibility
  • Public launch after beta validation

Closed Beta Testing

We kicked off a closed beta in early November with a group of early users. This allowed us to test the entire lifecycle—depositing fiat, converting to LPT, delegating, tracking rewards, and withdrawing back to fiat—with real users.

The beta surfaced minor UX improvements, but overall validation was strong, and all core flows performed as expected.

Live Transparency Dashboard

Our public transparency dashboard is now live.
This means the community can monitor Lisar’s progress in real time—delegators onboarded, total fiat converted, total delegations and more.

Community transparency is one of our commitments, so getting this live was a major step.

Gearing Up for Public Launch

With beta successfully completed, we’ve shifted into launch mode.
Announcements are ready and will be going out shortly. We’re now entering the final stage outlined in the original four-month proposal with the remaining months focusing on driving adoption and scaling the platform responsibly.

Milestones & Timeline (As Outlined on the proposal)
Check out full proposal on the forum

Build the Core Platform — Completed

  • Full fiat → LPT → delegation flow implemented
  • Secure fiat on/offramp integrations for multiple currencies
  • Gas sponsorship enabled (users never need ETH)
  • Delegation + reward tracking in fiat equivalents
  • Seamless withdrawals back to fiat

The core platform is stable and production-ready.

Transparency Dashboard — Completed

The dashboard now tracks and displays real-time metrics:

  • Number of delegators onboarded
  • Total fiat converted
  • Total LPT delegated through Lisar
  • Delegations per orchestrator

Launch & Scale — In Progress

Up Next

  • Launch & Scale - we’re opening access for anyone to delegate on Livepeer through Lisar, with announcements going out across all channels soon. Our next phase focuses on bringing delegators onboard responsibly marking the transition from building → testing → growth.

December – Status Update

December was a pivotal month for Lisar. We expanded our platform capabilities, are launching our first major user acquisition campaign, and prepared to bring the Livepeer community together in person for the first time. Here’s what work was done in the month of December.

What was completed in December

1. Multi-chain expansion: Adding yield tiers

In December we launched multi-asset support to offer users more yield options. This multi-asset approach delivers on the commitment we made to the community to provide yield tiers, giving users flexibility to choose strategies that match their goals and risk tolerance.

As we outlined in our original vision, this structure includes:

  • Stable, lower-yield options (principal remains stable with predictable but lower APY returns)
  • Higher, variable-yield options like LPT delegation (higher APY but with increased volatility and risk)

The technical work included new token conversion flows, reward tracking across different assets, and updated UI to handle multiple yields types seamlessly. Users can now access different yield opportunities all from one interface, starting where they’re most comfortable and gradually exploring higher-yield opportunities as their knowledge and confidence grow.

2. Early S Campaign: Our first GTM activation

We kicked off Early S, Lisar’s first go-to-market campaign designed to bring in the right set of early users. This required intentional planning to identify our target audience, build tracking systems to measure impact, and create the right incentives to drive sustainable growth.

We spent December figuring out who to target, how to track results, and what incentives actually work and now we’re launching the campaign and it will run for the next 3 months.

This campaign marks Lisar’s transition from product validation to active growth. We’re now fully focused on onboarding users who will engage meaningfully with the platform and the broader Livepeer ecosystem.

3. First Delegator Workshop: Bringing the community together

As outlined in our original proposal, we’re launching delegator workshops to connect with users in person and grow Livepeer’s presence in the regions we’re operating.

These workshops were always central to our approach. When we presented Lisar to the community, we emphasized that user education sits at the very core of what we’re building. Through these workshops, we make sure users understand how crypto economics and staking works—from price swings to reward fluctuations to orchestrator rewards and fee cuts—so expectations are set clearly from day one.

Our first workshop is happening in a few weeks. An announcement will go live shortly with RSVP details. We’re excited to meet Livepeer community members IRL, walk through delegation together, provide comprehensive education on the LPT token, crypto volatility, orchestrators, and staking mechanics, and help people get started with delegation.

Expect more events in the coming months as we scale this program.

Why December matters

Month 3 was about full throttle on activation. We expanded what Lisar can do (multi-asset support), activated our first growth engine (Early S), and started building community connections in person (workshops).

What’s next

  • Scale the GTM campaign and track performance across the campaign period
  • Host our first delegator workshop and gather feedback to refine future events
  • Continue expanding fiat rails and yield options based on user demand
  • Plan additional regional workshops across the regions we operate

Thank you for following along. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more updates soon.
