It’s been a year since Ultima Ratio joined the livepeer network, where it running as one of the most efficient nodes on the network.
Currently, we cover the whole world with an encoding capacity of over 150 live streams!
Our objective is always to reduce the reward cut according to the following plan:
15% when reaching 100,000 lpt staked
10% when reaching 150,000 lpt staked
5% when reaching 300,000 lpt staked
and of course we will reduce the fee cut as the work increases, in order to share more and more with our delegators.
Ultima Ratio, one of the most efficient orchestrator since May 2021, continues to increase its capacity and the quality of its network.
We can actually transcode more than 150 Streams in realtime all over the world, with a 10Gbps bandwidth and 6 GPU transcoding (4 more ready to work when the demand will increase).
Our goal is still maintained as follows:
35% reward cut and 80% fee cut when reaching 50,000 lpt staked
15% reward cut and 70% fee cut when reaching 100,000 lpt staked
10% reward cut and 60% fee cut when reaching 150,000 lpt staked
5% reward cut and 50 % fee cut when reaching 300,000 lpt staked
a quick update to let you know about the progress of our orchestrator.
Having reached the 100k LPT staked objective, we are reducing our reward cut from 35% to 25%, in order to gradually reduce it to 15% as we approach 150k LPT staked. Once this goal is reached, then progress towards 10%
We remain fully committed to the project and continue to improve our nodes in order to achieve the best possible results for the quality of the network and the interests of our delegators.
It has now been 4 years that Ultima Ratio has been providing video transcoding for the Livepeer network in a reliable and high-quality manner.
Currently, Ultima Ratio has the capacity to process more than 100 video streams in real-time.
In 2024, we deployed 3 new solar panels in Europe to power the transcoding servers, making the process eco-friendly.
As part of artificial intelligence, we have also deployed AI capabilities to handle numerous requests on AI pipelines, in order to always stay at the forefront of the Livepeer network’s evolution.
For this year 2025, we will continue to deploy capacities to handle incoming AI requests and remain attentive to the demand for transcoding to further increase our capabilities if necessary. We are fully dedicated to the Livepeer network, which is a promising and exciting adventure for the future.
Regarding staking, we will continue to apply our policy of reducing cuts based on the following stakes:
150,000 LPT → 25%
200,000 LPT → 15%
300,000 LPT → 10%
400,000 LPT → 5%

Having reached a stake of 200,000 LPT and as part of our delegator loyalty program, we are reducing our reward cut from 25% to 15%.
We have also started deploying multiple AI servers equipped with RTX 4090 / 5090 / 3090 / 4060 Ti Super to meet the demand from various SPEs requesting this new service.
